Seminar: MA Qualitative Verfahren (Qualitative Interviews): NGOs in an Era of technological change: participation through and in voluntary organizations
Political organizations such as NGOs are central to the organization of civic engagement and participation. Be it the Fridays-for-Future demonstrations, neighborhood help in times of Corona, or the local sports club: All these activities are made possible by NGOs and (local) organizations. In the seminar, we interview members of organizations about how digitalization and social media are changing their work. Together we select the organization for analysis and learn all the steps of an interview study. Study design, preparation of the interview guide, and interview analysis will be covered.
