This 'writing clinic' will be helpful to students of English and American Studies for improving academic writing skills and enhancing their writing performance. Students will practice writing through summarising, analysing, evaluating and synthesising ideas. The main focus will be on step-by-step approach which guides students through the writing process, from pre-writing to revision. Special attention will be paid to essay outlines, thesis statements, topic sentences, support and concluding sentences, elements of narrative and descriptive writing, revising and editing, and using proper citation skills.
