Kommentar/Beschreibung

These lectures trace some of the most relevant concepts in Cultural Studies against the backdrop of shifting notions of ‘culture’ and ‘identity’. Drawing from historical examples and current debates across the Anglophone world, they present these concepts as tools for analysis and critical discussion. Through study tasks, students develop their own 'concept maps' for critical application in a wide array of cultural and literary contexts.
