Comment/Description

Let’s be honest: SO many presentations are painfully boring. Text-heavy slides, robotic delivery, reading straight from the screen—sound familiar? If your presentations have been met with polite nods (or worse, blank stares), it’s time for an upgrade. Even if this has not been your problem, have your presentations so far been truly memorable?
Your research is exciting, but does your audience feel that excitement? Whether you're presenting at a conference, defending your dissertation, or interviewing for your dream job, your ability to command attention and leave a lasting impression is just as important as your data. In today’s academic and professional world, standing out isn’t optional—it’s essential.
This high-energy, hands-on workshop will transform the way you present. Led by an award-winning American trainer and university lecturer, it brings cutting-edge techniques from international academia and corporate communication straight to you.
What you’ll learn:
🚀 How to hook your audience from the start – No more “Today I will talk about…”
🎯 Structuring your presentation for maximum impact – Because clarity = credibility
🎨 Modern slide design that actually enhances your message – Not just text dumps!
📸 Using images & visuals legally and effectively – Say goodbye to bad visuals
🔥 How to be memorable & engaging – even in English – Because your future depends on it
Your PhD might be about something highly specialized—but your presentation shouldn’t feel like a chore to your audience. Learn how to own the room, inspire your listeners, and make your research unforgettable.
About the Schedule (Two full days, spread into 3): (May 22, 13-17:00/ May 23 9.00-16.00/ June 27th 13-17.00)
Day One (May 22): Half day workshop – You come with a 10 Minute presentation that you either have already done or you need/want to prepare for future on your area of research. It can be a conference topic or a chapter in your dissertation. On the first day we will watch your presentations and look at exactly what your needs are.
Day Two (May 23): Full day workshop – I help you learn the 6 most common problems with presentations and the 3 solutions to convincing and appealing presentations with power and passion. By the end of the day you know exactly what you need to change on your own presentations and how to make them more impactful.
Day Three (June 27th): (a few weeks later) – half day workshop: You present a second time – this time your new and improved version and we take a brief look into cultural differences in presentations to make you fitter for an international career.
