These lectures outline some of the most relevant analytical concepts in cultural studies against the backdrop of shifting notions of ‘culture’ and 'identity'. Drawing from historical examples and current debates across the Anglophone world, they present these concepts as tools for analysis and critical discussion. Students will develop a 'concept map' which will provide the basis for critical application of these key concepts.
