Kommentar/Beschreibung

This course is part of the Summer Program 2025 and taught by Prof. Lutzi (University of Augsburg).

This course is designed for students to develop an understanding of the international aspects of civil and commercial litigation, focusing on questions of international jurisdiction, the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, and their interplay with international commercial arbitration. The course aims to provide students with an overview of the relevant legal framework (with a focus on the EU and UK) as well as an appreciation of the practicalities of managing transnational disputes.
