This is a course that will focus on theoretical approaches within the field of ecocriticism. So you should have an interest in reading texts that might not completely become clear upon the first reading, be willing to come to class with questions and discuss to look for answers - or more questions - together.
So you don't need previous knowledge in the field - but curiosity and willingness to spend your time with this topic matter.
Students in the MA Umweltethik can also take this course for 4 CP: for the signature KTH-6100 Seminar 1 or Seminar 2. These signatures will be added soon to the list on Digicampus.
|Performance record||You will write two-three response papers of 500-1500 words about research texts we read in the class and you will present one of them plus discussion questions in the class.|
|Online/Digitale Veranstaltung||Veranstaltung wird in Präsenz abgehalten.|
|Literaturhinweise||Most texts will be made available to you via Digicampus. You will have to purchase one longer text that we will read together as part of the course. More information on this will be made available in the first session.|
