Pre-requisites (Advanced) Knowledge in operations management modeling, mathematics (including Linear Programming); knowledge in optimization (e.g. IBM ILOG) software is assumed; knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Java) is beneficial.

Fields of study


Topics of the module include (but are not limited to) the following:
• (Re-)Introduction to IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio
• Integer programming model formulation
• Structure and analysis of various operations research problems
• Modeling, transforming, and solving operations research problems in IBM ILOG
• ILOG Script, which allows for pre-/postprocessing, flow control, interaction with data bases, etc.
