Kommentar/Beschreibung

This research project focusses on the meta-level of studying and its motivational and emotional preconditions. In particular, we will consider the role of planning, monitoring, regulating/controlling, evaluating learning and learning progress. These constitute core components of self-regulated learning. Possible foci include: Motivational and emotional preconditions of metacognitive processes (e.g., self-testing as a strategy) and their adequacy/accuracy (e.g., judgments), motivation and emotion as objects of metacognitive control (motivational and emotional regulation), metacognitive knowledge, meta-motivational knowledge, meta-emotional knowledge.
