This class offers an introduction to the principles of
Phonetics and Phonology, including the articulatory basis
and feature descriptions of especially the phonemes
and allophones that occur in the major varieties of English.
There will be a practical focus on both British (RP)
and American (GA) standard pronunciations as well
on phonological transcriptions both using IPA (an account
of the organizational principles of the IPA will be provided
as well) and, for students of the "Lehramt", the systems
expected in the Bavarian state exams.

Es wird eine festgelegte Anzahl von Plätzen in den Veranstaltungen verteilt.
Die Plätze in den betreffenden Veranstaltungen wurden am 07.04.2021 um 08:00 verteilt. Weitere Plätze werden evtl. über Wartelisten zur Verfügung gestellt.
Diese Regel gilt von 01.03.2021 08:00 bis 05.04.2021 20:00. Die Anmeldung zu maximal 1 Veranstaltungen des Anmeldesets ist erlaubt.
Die Anmeldung ist möglich von 01.03.2021, 08:00 bis 05.04.2021, 20:00.
