Do you want to take control of your time, stay focused and make real progress on your PhD?
This hands-on workshop gives you practical strategies to manage distractions,
structure your day, set priorities under pressure, and communicate clearly.
Learning objectives and seminar description:
Conducting your PhD with focus, structure and confidence — that’s the goal. But too
often, time seems to slip away, distractions pile up, and pressure clouds your
priorities.
This dynamic and interactive workshop is designed to tackle exactly those
challenges. You’ll gain fresh tools, smart methods and real-world techniques to boost
your time and self-management. From cutting out time-wasters to building
sustainable work habits, you'll walk away with a clear roadmap — and the motivation
to follow it.
The following topics will be covered:
- Analyzing your personal time management performance
- Recognizing your time wasters and reducing disruptions
- Getting things done efficiently, e.g. with the Pareto principle
- Planning time sensibly your to-do-lists (ALPEN method)
- Setting priorities and preventing stress (Eisenhower matrix)
