These survey lectures examine key texts from various anglophone regions against the backdrop of literary and historical developments as well as theoretical shifts from concepts of postcolonial literature to more recent transcultural approaches and emerging theories of anglophone world literature. Each lecture will focus on a selection of literary texts to illustrate their key topics, literary strategies and interpretive frameworks in the context of these theoretical developments.
