Comment/Description

This course will try to link theoretical backgrounds with aspects of everyday practical teaching in secondary school. We will look at different aspects of heterogeneity and how to deal with it in English lessons. Emphasis will be put on topics such as individualisation and differentiation, cooperative learning, exercises and tasks, classroom management, or scaffolding.
You will also analyse and evaluate teaching materials and examples from English lessons and coursebooks. In addition, you will create your own materials, present them to the class, and get feedback.
