This course is part of the 2024 Augsburg Summer Program.
This course is designed for students to develop an understanding of the international aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including questions of international jurisdiction, choice of law, the recognition and enforcement of judgments, and its interplay with international commercial arbitration. The course aims to provide students with an overview of the relevant legal framework (with a focus on the EU and UK) as well as an appreciation of the practicalities of managing transnational disputes.
