If you want to attend another software class of our chair, please use the same form and indicate, if you want to apply for both but just want to take one class or if you want to apply for both and would like to participate in both classes. It is highly recommended that you have access to a Windows machine with Microsoft Excel 2016 or newer installed. The Mac OS Version does not support all necessary functions thought in this course.

Kommentar/Beschreibung

In this course the students learn to use Excel as a tool for Business Analytics. At the end of the module, the students are able to use Excel effectively to analyze, optimize, and simulate service processes. Furthermore, the students are able to present their findings in class. Finally, they are able to make sound decisions. The course deals with the following topics:

• Advanced Excel Formulas
• Pivot Tables
• Optimization with the Excel Solver
• PowerQuery as Database tool
• Monte Carlo Simulation
• Macro Recording & VBA

It is highly recommended that you have access to a Windows machine with Microsoft Excel 2016 or newer installed. The Mac OS Version does not support all neccecary functions tought in this course.
