Comment/Description

Directed Studies is a supplementary (non-credit course) group for B.A., B.Ed., 'Zula' and M.A. projects in Anglophone Literary and Cultural Studies in which students develop, present and discuss project outlines and research abstracts. Across different workshops, we will focus on research strategies and academic writing. Students of M.A. NAS can obtain credit for their mandatory colloquium in this course. There is also a sub-group for the preparation of the state exam in New English Literatures/Postcolonial Studies (Lehramt Gym, Examenskolloquium NELK). For participation and supervision requests, please first consult with Prof. McPherson in office hours (sign up via Digicampus)!
The colloquium sessions include project presentations and chapter discussions by PhD candidates in New English Literatures and Cultural Studies.
