Kommentar/Beschreibung

This course includes both theory and practice. It provides an overview of different digital technologies and how they can be used in EFL lessons with young learners (focus on classes 1-6).
You will be introduced to the theoretical underpinnings of the use of classroom technology, such as Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), as well as the research and best practice in the field. In addition, you will work with texts, learn about empirical evidence for the use of digital tools in EFL teaching and learning, and independently and actively engage with questions about the use of digital technologies in English language teaching.
You will also be encouraged to work with different digital tools, to try them out, to design and create tasks and exercises, and to find out about the benefits and limitations of the tools.
Active and independent participation in the theoretical and practical parts of the seminar is expected and required.

Anmelderegeln

Diese Veranstaltung gehört zum Anmeldeset "DID ENG HS".
Studierende der Anglistik/Amerikanistik und des Faches Englisch können sich bereits während der vorgezogenen Anmeldephase zur Sicherstellung des Studienfortschritts für die Aufbau- und Vertiefungsmodule anmelden. Hierzu wird ein gewisses Kontingent der Kursplätze im Zeitraum vom 11.08.2025 bis 27.08.2025 für die Anmeldung geöffnet. Die Verteilung der Plätze erfolgt am 29.08.2025. Bitte beachten Sie, dass in dieser Anmeldephase Studierende in höheren Fachsemestern bei der Verteilung der Plätze priorisiert werden.
Die allgemeine Anmeldephase beginnt am 02.09.2025 und endet am 06.10.2025.
Folgende Regeln gelten für die Anmeldung:
  • Diese Regel gilt von 02.09.2025 08:00 bis 06.10.2025 12:00.
    Die Anmeldung zu maximal 3 Veranstaltungen des Anmeldesets ist erlaubt.
  • Es wird eine festgelegte Anzahl von Plätzen in den Veranstaltungen verteilt.
    Die Plätze in den betreffenden Veranstaltungen wurden am 08.10.2025 um 12:00 verteilt. Weitere Plätze werden evtl. über Wartelisten zur Verfügung gestellt.
  • Folgende Personenkreise werden bei der Platzverteilung bevorzugt:
    • Abschluss ist Master of Arts (1134 Personen)
  • Die Anmeldung ist möglich von 02.09.2025, 08:00 bis 06.10.2025, 12:00.
