The Method Course “Magnetic and Superconducting Materials” covers the following topics:
1. Introduction on Magnetic and Superconducting Advanced Materials;
2. Crystal Growth Techniques;
3. X-ray Powder Diffraction;
4. Magnetization and Magnetic Susceptibility;
5. DC-transport;
6. Specific Heat.
The aim of the Method Course is to make you familiar with the advance modern methods of sample preparation and characterization of complex magnetic and superconducting materials.

Lecture time: Mondays 9:00-11:00
Practice: Mondays 12:00-14:00
Location: 4A 403, Experimental Physics V, Department of Physics, University of Augsburg
