Kommentar/Beschreibung

Words can be as hard as sticks and as sharp as knives. They build dreams and hopes and worlds, and are the tools with which academics - no matter which discipline they commit themselves to - make their argument and state their case. And yet although all scholars write, are all scholars writers? What exactly do they write, and how does it compare to other genres? Covering the nitty gritty of drafting, writing, rewriting, and publishing, this three-day seminar, spread out between December, January, and February, presents a behind-the-scenes tour of academic writing as a genre - and even world - of its own.

The course is open to all, but members of the second cohort of the IDK Um(Welt)Denken will be given priority.
