Comment/Description

The course will be offered in the form of lectures on Tuesdays together with online seminar talks on Wednesdays. The topic of the lectures on Tuesdays is mainly about hyperbolic dynamics. This is a domain which studies strong robust local structures of hyperbolicity and the effect on the global dynamics of a system. The seminars on Wednesdays will discuss various topics such as the study of stability of periodic orbits in Hamiltonian systems, various billiard systems etc. The aim of this form of organization is to provide to the participants a link between studies on basics with more advanced research topics.
