Comment/Description

Do you fancy creative English teaching and up-to-date teaching materials? Are you addicted to podcasts or do you at least listen to them from time to time? Have you always wanted to create your own podcast? Or have you already done so and would like to pass on your knowledge? Then you are in the right place! Whether it's the history of English football or the London tube, 1000 ways to prepare a hot dog or cheeseburger, phenomena and pitfalls of English grammar, English idioms and sayings, or whatever else you have in mind.
In this seminar you will first get a theoretical introduction and look at the design criteria for podcasts. You will find out what makes a good podcast before developing, creating, and recording your own podcast to support English language and culture learning (don’t worry: if you need technical support, you can get it!). You will also design teaching materials, worksheets, and/or digital exercises to use your podcasts in English classrooms and evaluate your results.
If possible bring a digital device to the seminar, also to produce your own podcast.

Da es sich um ein Blockseminar mit einer Vorbesprechung im September handelt, werden alle Plätze bereits am 30.08.2024 verteilt. Eine Anmeldung während der regulären Anmeldephase ist nicht möglich.
