Comment/Description

Inhalt der Vorlesung sind Technologien, Methoden und Themen mit Relevanz für das „Internet der Dinge“. In praktischen Übungen entwickeln Studenten in kleinen Teams interaktive/intelligente Artefakte, welche zum einen Teil aus Software und einem Teil aus Hardware (z.B. einem Mikroprozessoren, Sensoren und Aktuatoren) bestehen.

Konkret werden in der Vorlesung Grundlagen für die Arbeit mit der der Arduino Plattform vorgestellt u.a.:

- Details zum Arduino Board und zu einer Auswahl an Sensoren (z.B. Helligkeitssensor oder Biegesensor) und Aktuatoren (z.B. LEDs oder Motoren)
- Basiswissen zu elektrischen Schaltkreisen
- Details der Arduino Programmierung und der Softwareumgebung
- Serielle Kommunikation zwischen Arduino und einem PC

Zusätzlich werden Beispielprojekte aus den Forschungsbereichen Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion und speziell Tangible-Interfaces („greifbare Interfaces“) vorgestellt und theoretische und gestalterische Grundlangen erläutert.

Es wird ein Abschlussprojekt geben, welches über mehrere Übungen hinweg von den Studierenden zum Abschluss der Lehrveranstaltung bearbeitet wird. Die Thematik des Abschlussprojektes wird in Zusammenarbeit mit den Dozent*innen im Laufe der Lehrveranstaltung erarbeitet.
