Comment/Description

Ziel des Seminars ist es, ein grundlegendes Verständnis von Phänomenen in Lieferketten und den Aufgaben des Supply Chain Managements zu entwickeln. Im Rahmen einer Online-Simulation werden Standorttyp- und Standortwahlentscheidungen getroffen, geeignete Prognoseverfahren und Lagerhaltungspolitiken sowie geeignete Transportmodi angewendet.
Zunächst werden die Grundlagen der Prognose- und Lagerstrategien vermittelt. Das Wissen wird dann zu einem ganzheitlichen Verständnis von Supply Chain Management weiterentwickelt. Abschließend wird eine SC-Simulation durchgeführt, um die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse zu überprüfen und weiterzuentwickeln. Anschließend werden zwei Szenarien betrachtet und die im Vorfeld entwickelten theoretisch fundierten Strategien in einem Seminarbeitrag festgehalten und zusammen mit den Simulationsergebnissen bewertet.
