In diesem Seminar werden verschiedene Entscheidungsprobleme aus den Bereichen Produktion und Logistik von Studentengruppen mit Hilfe von Methoden des Operations Research analysiert, modelliert und gelöst. Zur Durchführung der Simulationsstudien wird „Tecnomatix Plant Simulation“ von Siemens PLM eingesetzt. Neben der Lösung des eigentlichen Problems wird besonderes Augenmerk auf die Analyse der entscheidungsrelevanten Informationen und die Interpretation der Ergebnisse gelegt, damit Entscheidungen effizient und transparent getroffen werden.
