- Phase 1: July 7 – 17, 2025 (Course placement on July 18, 2025) for students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technology (MNTF) and the Department of Computer Science (funded by institutions). - Phase 2: July 21 – 31, 2025 (Course placement from August 5, 2025) for students of all other faculties/departments. Participation requires a course fee of €30 – further information and invoices will be sent via email after course places are allocated. Remaining course places will likely be assigned starting August 25, 2025. Projects are important at all company aspects and resorts. Essential for success is that all project members know and accept the project goals, plan and their own tasks as well as an efficent project coordination and controlling. Therefore the course trains fundamental concepts of modern project management. Lerninhalte: • Basics of Project management • Project definition • Project organisation • Project communication • Project planning • Project calculation • Project risk management • Project controlling • Project closing • Project documentation Methods: • teacher presentation (in parts) • working on a business case in small groups • presenting the business case solution per team at the end • detailled feedback from all attendencies and course leader Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Matthias Menter (Jun.-Prof.), Chair of Business Dynamics, Innovation and Economic Change, Friedrich Schiller University Jena ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ **KEEP ATTENTION** • Exercises in the workshop also take place outdoors.
