The course assumes prior knowledge from the Bachelor course. We will, however, be flexible in the first weeks to allow first-timers to learn the basics (either by self-study or by participating in the bachelor course).

First 3 Weeks:
Optional topic, to allow first timers to get up to speed with the basics
- Quantum Complexity classes (in the lecture)
- Alternative: Basics of Quantum mechanics (self study, or visit the Bachelor course)

Quantum Algorithms
operations on qubits: circuits and gates
quantum search and amplitude amplification
quantum fourier transform and it's applications
block encodings
quantum circuit compilation
differentiable quantum algorithmic procedures and applications
examples from current day research
