Module assignments

Comment/Description

The module is an innovative combination of mediation of theoretical background knowledge, practice and experience using a supply chain (business) simulation. We will play several rounds of the business simulation in teams of 4 to explore different topics in supply chain management, using the example of a virtuell company. The topics include (amongst others):
- Basics and decision making in supply chain management
- Supplier Management
- Capacity and Production Management
- Inventory Management and Planning
- Supply Chain Mapping and component characteristics
- Supply Chain Strategy
- Supply Chain Risks
- Resilient Supply Chain Management

Admission settings

The course is part of admission "Zeitgesteuerte Anmeldung: Cases in Resilient Supply Chains: A business game application".
The following rules apply for the admission:
  • The enrolment is possible from 06.03.2023, 00:00 to 16.04.2023, 23:59.

Registration mode

After enrolment, participants will manually be selected.

The course is limited to 16 participants due to required licenses.
Please register for the course on Digicampus by 16.04.2023 (11:59 pm). Make sure to additionally submit the "Registration of Admission Restricted Courses" form by the deadline. The form can be found under: https://www.uni-augsburg.de/de/fakultaet/wiwi/prof/bwl/ostermeier/lehre/anmeldung-kurse/

We invite all interested (and registered) students to the kick-off event where we will introduce the business game and provide further information on this years course. If the number of interested parties exceeds the available places, a manual allocation will be made after the kick-off event on April 19.

The enrolment is binding, participants cannot unsubscribe themselves.
