Kommentar/Beschreibung

After successfully completing this module, students are able to understand basic interrelationships in an open economy and to explain the behavior of exchange rates and balances of payments. They can correctly apply the models developed in the course in accordance with the respective model assumptions and use them to critically analyze and evaluate fiscal, monetary, and exchange-rate policy measures taken by the government.
