Voraussetzungen	It is recommended but not strictly necessary to bring previous knowledge in basics of computer architecture and in programming in C language. This course replaces the previous course "Praktikum Eingebettete Systeme". Hence, students are not allowed to take this course if they passed "Praktikum Eingebettete Systeme" already.

Kommentar/Beschreibung

The course teaches important concepts for the development and implementation of embedded systems on a low hardware-related level. The main focus is on the handling of different hardware components (sensors and actuators) and their connection and control to/by a microcontroller. During the semester, an embedded system is gradually implemented as a coherent semester task.

In order to meet the learning objectives of this internship, no or very little software support (e. g. prefabricated drivers) is provided. The aim is therefore to implement the control of the required hardware from scratch using the existing documentation.
