Join this group within 12.03. - 10.04.2018 in order to apply for the Digital Entrepreneurship Course at the Chair of Information Systems and Management (Prof. Dr. Veit).

APPLICATION PROCESS:
All students will be TENTATIVELY admitted to this Digicampus Group.

To proceed with the selection process and to be considered for final admission, each student is required
1. to download and complete the Excel application form (available in the Digicampus group)
2. to upload the Excel application
3. to upload her/his latest Transcript of Records (Notenauszug)

After the application deadline and given that all necessary information was provided, students will receive notice on whether they have been selected to participate in this course.

Admitted students will gain final admission and remain in the Digicampus group for further collaboration. Students with declined applications will be removed from the Digicampus group.
Leistungsnachweis Written essay (70%), Presentation(30%)

Sonstiges After the successful completion of the module, students will deeply understand the fundamentals of IT-driven and digital entrepreneurship. Light is shed on strategic dimensions of recent developments in IT such as E-Business, Web 2.0, Social Media Analytics, and Cloud Computing together with their use for new ventures and business models. Based on these insights, the managerial implications for competitive advantage, innovation, electronic marketing and pricing will be acquired. Students will train tools and techniques such as the Lean Startup approach and apply the learned topics while developing and presenting their own business idea in a team. The learned skills allow entrepreneurs to successfully enter the market but also support managers of existing firms in developing IT-driven intrapreneurial innovation strategies helping them to stay ahead of competition.

In this course, students will be grouped into heterogeneous teams of 4-6 students by the chair. Within these teams, they will develop their own startup idea, write a business plan for it, and pitch it to a jury of professional investors, founders etc. towards the end of the semester.
