Comment/Description

Learning English at elementary school should be a unit of “head, heart and hand”.
This means cognitive, emotional and practical skills should be stimulated and used during the lesson in various activities. How can teachers have pupils listen to and talk in the foreign language with all their senses and without any shyness.

Many concepts and various different approaches were discussed since the beginning of teaching English to younger learners.

This seminar should introduce typical methods and techniques of teaching a foreign language in elementary school. Together we will develop an ABC with necessary methods and techniques for the elementary school.

Admission settings

The course is part of admission "DID ENG PS".
Studierende der Anglistik/Amerikanistik und des Faches Englisch können sich bereits während der vorgezogenen Anmeldephase zur Sicherstellung des Studienfortschritts für die Aufbau- und Vertiefungsmodule anmelden. Hierzu wird ein gewisses Kontingent der Kursplätze im Zeitraum vom 20.02.2023 bis 01.03.2023 für die Anmeldung geöffnet. Die Verteilung der Plätze erfolgt am 03.03.2023.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass in dieser Anmeldephase Studierende in höheren Fachsemestern bei der Verteilung der Plätze priorisiert werden.
Die allgemeine Anmeldephase beginnt am 06.03.2023 und endet am 10.04.2023.

  • The enrolment is possible from 06.03.2023, 08:00 to 10.04.2023, 12:00.
  • A defined number of seats will be assigned to these courses.
    The seats in the affected courses have been assigned at 12.04.2023 on 12:00. Additional seats may be available via a wait list.
