This seminar, which is held in English, builds theoretical and practical knowledge on the topics of emotion and emotional intelligence. We apply scientific findings and theories on emotion expression, perception and regulation in hands-on assignments. Moreover, we tackle the measurement of emotional competencies as well as how emotional competencies can be promoted through interventions. Sub-items are methods of affect induction used in emotion research, affect sensing via the computer and emotional synchrony across persons.
