Kommentar/Beschreibung

Why is it still important these days to know and utilize appropriate manners and appearance on public occasions? Is etiquette still up to date? In this course we will dig into Topics like appropriate greetings, Small Talk, Manners, authentic appearance and much more. We will discuss and playfully learn about these topics. The aim is to get to know appropriate manners in the office and society and to get a feeling for personal decisions to stay authentic while having a professional appearance.
Topis:
- Greeting and reception – the first impression counts
- Verbal and non-verbal communication – small talk and more
- Clothes make people – how do I dress appropriate for the office?
- My personal style – what is authentic and what suits me?
- Personal contact – Manners (at the table)
- Professional contact via Phone, Mail and other digital media
- Finding appropriate farewells
Methods: interactive, exchange in small groups, input by coach, playful elements, individual work
