Free and open tools like software and data sources enable carrying on cost-effective, reproducible, and flexible geospatial analyses. The course introduces you to a range of open geospatial tools and explores how they compare with commercial and closed alternatives. During the course, you will use open resources to plan and carry out a geospatial analysis on a case study. By the end of the course, you will be able to navigate through open geospatial resources and critically evaluate their strength and limitations, developing skills that are transferable across different working environments. |
