Im Normalfall ist der Mittwoch Nachmittag ab spätestens 14h zu Ihrer Verfügung, das Praktikum bezieht sich auf Mittwoch VORMITTAG. Die genaue Zeiteinteilung hängt jedoch von Ihrer jeweilogen Einsatzschule ab.
The seminar is meant to provide the participants of “studienbegleitendes Praktikum” for English / grammar school with help and assistance on various aspects of teaching; this would include:
- how to come up with a decently timed lesson within a framework of (long-term) learning objectives
- how to prepare and document such a lesson plan within a standardised grid
- how to conduct this lesson and to stay flexible and adaptive whilst teaching
- how to re-consider one’s own performance within class and derive benefit from this analysis
- how to grapple with “classic” problems of classroom interaction such as “stage fright”, low discipline or poor classroom management / media management
Next to input on these topics, students’ lessons as delivered at their respective internship schools shall be analysed, thus strong points be made visible and shortcomings be addressed for further improvement.
