The presentation topic is:
• based on the course content and an examination in one specific topic in depth,
• approx. 15 minutes,
• thoroughly researched and adherence to academic standards (citation, bibliography, wide variety of credible literature).
Are you an exchange student at the University of Augsburg und are you eager to learn und experience the German culture? Then this seminar has been especially created for you. As you know, the intercultural communication is about two things. The first one is information and explaining about the culture. And the second one is our perception, based on an understanding of our own values. So we will focus us on both subjects in this seminar.
In 14 days you will receive an introductory overview of German culture, its society, education and business world. Including media, music, politics, sustainability and the UNESCO World Heritage status of the city of Augsburg. In addition you will benefit from rich discussions over every topic and exchange of personal intercultural experiences. Nevertheless, you will put into practice group work und a presentation performance, which are both valuable and essential for studying at the university.
The goal of this seminar is to provide you with essential knowledge about the hosting German country and facilitate your curiosity to examine the differences and similarities between your native culture or cultures and the German one.

Es wird eine festgelegte Anzahl von Plätzen in den Veranstaltungen verteilt.
Die Plätze in den betreffenden Veranstaltungen wurden am 10.10.2022 um 23:59 verteilt. Weitere Plätze werden evtl. über Wartelisten zur Verfügung gestellt.

Nutzer/-innen, die sich für diese Veranstaltung eintragen möchten,
