Comment/Description

This course examines and expounds on the basic concepts and methods of narrative analysis with the aim of facilitating critical approaches to various texts. The course is interactive and hands-on and will be implementing studied theory to texts directly in order to practise narrative analysis. Towards the end of the course, participants will find themselves equipped with the necessary tools for comprehensive close reading of narrative texts. Primary sources will mainly be short stories by various acclaimed authors.

All course materials will be provided.

For the 2-course-module EAS-1411, this Ü is to be combined with the PS "Literature from the Margins" (Stojanovic).
