Please be aware that in the Modulhandbuch this module, which consists of Proseminar + Übung is allotted 180h of work. 60 of those hours are counted towards your presence in the classroom 2h/PS + 2hÜ for 12-15 weeks of term. (With all the holidays it will be closer to 12.) That leaves 60h for the Proseminar and another 60 for the Übung. That translates to about 2-3h of preparation time for each session. Please be aware of this when you plan your overall schedule. None of the plays we will read is terribly long, but there will be several of them to read plus secondary texts and background. The aim of the class is for you to get a good overview over the topic, which is only achievable if we look at a variety of plays. |
