Comment/Description

Heterogeneity is considered a major challenge for all teachers. This seminar will combine theoretical background with aspects of everyday practical EFL teaching and learning. We will look at different aspects of heterogeneity and how to deal with it in the English classroom. Therefore, we will also work with texts and take a look at research in this area. We will focus on topics such as dimensions of heterogeneity, individualisation and differentiation, cooperative learning, exercises and tasks, classroom management, and scaffolding.
You will also analyse and evaluate teaching materials and examples from English lessons and coursebooks. In addition, you will create your own materials, present them to the class, and get feedback.

Da es sich um ein Blockseminar mit einer Vorbesprechung im September handelt, werden alle Plätze bereits am 30.08.2024 verteilt. Eine Anmeldung während der regulären Anmeldephase ist nicht möglich.
