Comment/Description

The seminar is dedicated to language mediation skills, with a focus on teaching, testing and evaluating these skills. After a basic introduction to the concept of competence, the differences between different types of language mediation will be developed and finally the most common types at the secondary school level will be examined – mediation. The methodological approach to teaching language mediation tasks will be discussed, as will the question of how mediation texts written by students are evaluated. Participants will work on concrete teaching examples, and authentic texts by students from different grades will be used to ensure the greatest possible practical relevance.
